On 1 December 2020, our college organised a meeting to make us understand about AIDS and to remove all the prejudices existing in the mind of people. This was organised to make the budding teachers understand why it is important to be aware about it. The session was conducted through Google meet from 2 pm to 4 pm by DR. Shobha Mathew. The class was very interesting and informative.
The class was very informative as the speaker presented everything through PPT. She explained and made us respond and interact with her. She explained the history of AIDS, the difference between AIDS and HIV, how it is transmitted, how we can prevent it, what we should take care of if an HIV patient is pregnant, etc.
