A CLASS ON RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Our College has conducted a class on "Research Methodology" by Dr. Bindu. S. The session was conducted through Google Meet from 11 to 1.00. It was an interesting session in which she explained every aspects associated with research and the various types of researches like action research, empirical research, case study etc were discussed. I am sure that, everyone of us understood the content. But I think that, more than the theoretical part, ma`am could have included examples. I think due to the time limitation there was not much time left to discuss more.

Mid Semester Exam

We were informed before itself that, after onam vacation from September 7 to September 9, we will be having our mid semester exam. Even if we were informed, due to the onam celebration at home, we were little distracted from studies. But some how we managed to write the exam properly. The exam was conducted by assigning one teacher for 5 to 6 students and we were monitored through Google Meet and we should always keep the video on and teacher presented the question paper for us. It was a new experience and I was not that comfortable of writing exam without having the comfort of a proper desk like in our classroom. But not only me, majority among us was satisfied with these online classes and exams. We really want our traditional classroom settings.

Onam Celebration at home

Onam is an annual holiday and festival celebrated in Kerala, India. It is a celebration of culture, heritage, togetherness and love. Onam is celebrated in the Malayalam month Chingam. According to the belief of Keralites, the festival is celebrated to commemorate King Mahabali, whose spirit is said to visit Kerala at the time of Onam.

In our land onapookkalam (Atham), Onasadya, onakkalakal, onakkalikal, etc are part and parcel of the culture of our country.

I hope that, even if we suffer with Corona, many of us are able to celebrate onam with our family in our home. I also celebrated onam with my family in our home. It was a valuable memories.
