Notification For Onam Celebration

.. with All competition Items..

We are all surprised with the online onam celebration and we were extremely happy to participate. Because this could be probably our last onam celebration in Christ Nagar College of Education. I was looking into the competition items and found that, there is a competition to win the title "Malayali Manga". I asked all my friends to participate and finally I also agreed to give it a try because of the motivation of my students. 

 We, the English optional students created a video of our previous year onam celebration. 

Alumni Meeting

 On 26th August, we had our first Alumni meeting after we joined in our college. We were able to meet many old students and teachers who shared their memories and we witnessed the bond and love they shared with each other. 

Then the official function beginned with the prayer and everyone was welcomed by our dear Principal ma`am, Dr.MS Geetha, Addressed by Ms. Meryl Benny, President of Alumni association CNCE, The special address was given by Rev. Fr. Sony Sebastian. The Alumni report was presented by Akhila, Secretary of Alumni association. Financial report was presented by Rahul. The teachers proposed many ideas to improve and they asked them to bring more clear reports next time to give the new students more clarity. It was a new and nice experience for us.

BonVoyage to Our Dear Seniors

 Due to the Corona Pandemic situation, we have decided to conduct an online farewell party for our seniors. We knew that, it is not an easy job to do. So with the cooperation of all students and teachers we decided to conduct it after planning for several days.

Virtual Invitation

We gathered their photos to give them surprises and conducted various games to entertain them by recalling memories. Our union members planned successfully and assigned each job to each members and made it a grant success. From the hearty smiles of seniors we were able to understand it. Their smiles, laughs, memories and expressing thanks to everyone was the returning gift for us. We were extremely happy.

Annual Day Function

 On 18th August 2020, our college celebrated our annual day. Everyone was really worried to conduct such an event through online platforms like  Google meet. But with the effort of college union, teachers and our seniors it became a big success. 

We beginned with the prayer by Archa, Welcome speech was delivered by our General secretary Balu, presidential address was given by Rev. Fr.Dr. Sony Sebastian, Inaugural address was given by Rev.Fr. Robin Ananthakattu, CMI. Annual Report was presented by our Principal, Dr. MS Geetha ma`am and College union report was presented by Sruthi Rajan, General Secretary of college union 2018-2020. Everyone was happy with the programmes and was satisfied with the college annual report as well as the college union report. The function was felicitated by Ms. Sheeba, Assistant Professor of our college and Sharon, Chairman of 2019-2021 batch. 

Independence Day Celebration

We had a beautiful independence day celebration. Our dearest teacher coordinators Soumya ma`am and Chinchu ma`am coordinated and planned the functions really well. The formal function started at morning 9.30 am and flag was hoisted at our college by our director, Dr. Sony Sebastian. Our college union has done a wonderful job by perfectly organizing various videos and competitions. 

Our college union had conducted various competitions like poster making, English elocution and Malayalam elocution competitions, etc.

"Unlocking the Potentials of Technology"

On 4th August our college conducted a workshop on "Unlocking the Potentials of Technology". The class was taken by Mr. Naushat A Salim, Asistant Professor, KUCTE Kulakkada, Kollam. It was an informative session which made us understand more about Microsoft Power Point  2016 . It was very useful. But I felt like most of us doesn't have latest versions of Microsoft PowerPoint, but still it was useful. It was useful to develop e-content in an effective way. 

 

A Special Covid Prevention Session for Parents

 ..Fighting the Pandemic..

Our PTA has conducted a special covid awareness and prevention meet for our parents. Both my parents were excited to participate in the session. Every parents asked questions to clarify their doubts and it was an informative session.
